This musical journey began at age three, when Pam began singing in the youth choir at church. Her first recording was in 1977 with Unity Baptist Church Youth Choir in Detroit. That was her introduction and initial fascination with recording. She began taking private piano lessons at age 7, and continued through college.
As she learned classical music and theory, Pam also found a natural gift from studying the musicians and singers she grew up with around the church. She begain directing choirs and playing for churches at age 12. This continued throughout high school, college and well into her adult music career.
In 1991, she recorded with Michael Mindigall & Communion, leading the hit single "Holy". In 1995 she began to focus on writing and vocal production. Her first opportunity to publish came when she wrote "You Encourage My Soul" on Virtue's Get Ready album. This was the beginning of a blossoming music career.
Pam currently serves as the Minister of Music at Dunamis Outreach Ministries in Detroit, Michigan. She is also a vocal producer and songwriter with TommyGunn1965 and Mo'Life Entertainment. God has blessed her to sing with, record, produce and write for various artists including: Virtue, Diana Ross, Kem, Take 6, Mitchell Jones (Commissioned), Marcus Cole (Commissioned), Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, The Nevel Sisters, Lexi, Darius, Darius Twyman, Charles Curry, Rod Lumpkin, William Murphy III, Antwaun Stanley, jazz artists Bamm Davis and Randy Scott, Tommy Walker Jr., and many more.
This journey is not blessed without God's Hand moving in her life and the support of a wonderful family. These are the reasons why she can walk in her purpose and continue to sing, write and publish the message that God has given her.
